Employment Law

I know what it is like to lose a job. You are left with bills to pay and no income.  On top of it, you probably feel psychologically defeated after months of unprofessional behavior from your managers where you were nitpicked and blamed for many workplace errors and problems that more than likely are not true and certainly not your fault.

But here’s the truth. Many good employees never realize that this is just part a legal game that is being played against them. It is designed to make you feel depressed and defeated just so they can get you to quit.  This way they don’t have to fire you, which allows them to save money from having to pay unemployment benefits and avoid litigation.  However, this is when you need an attorney the most.

Your employer holds a position of power over you.  They have the money and power to push you around because they know they control your livelihood, which for most of us means our mortgage, health insurance, retirement, or just food on the table.  This is something that you don’t want to face alone.  Call me to talk about your legal options before you are terminated.  If you are terminated, you certainly want to talk with an attorney to make sure you are getting what you deserve from your employer and to make sure that they have not broken the law when they fired you or made your existence there so difficult you had to quit.

Call me at (314) 540-5350 and I would be happy to discuss your legal options.
